How it sits in your shelf.
The standard size sits comfortably between two paperbacks, with the cartouche peeking up about 50mm above an average mass-market spine.
- Between two trade paperbacks (15mm spines): the design reads at a glance from across the room
- On a hardback shelf with 30mm dust-jacketed spines: keep it at Standard, it'll still hold the line
- For the very narrow shelf (38mm depth or less): sits flush without leaning
Care & the workshop.
These signs aren't precious — they're meant to live next to books that actually get read. A monthly dust with a soft cloth keeps the engraving sharp. Spill tea on it? Wipe with a damp cloth and let it air dry; the food-safe finish bounces back.
Every sign ships with a small bottle of the same oil we use in the workshop — enough for a refresh every six months for about three years.

UK orders ship next-day with Royal Mail Tracked 24 (£4 flat, free over £100). EU and US orders ship DDP — we've already paid the import duty and tariffs, so there's no surprise fee on delivery.

Returns.
30 days, no questions, no restocking fee. If a sign arrives damaged or you change your mind, message us and we'll arrange a return label. Signs are made to order — if the fault is ever ours, we re-make and re-ship at our cost.
